Over at Bach we’ve been pondering the reality that hops don’t shine without the perfect cushion of malts. Doug & Gabi Michael started Gladfield Malt 17 years ago. Doug’s a 5th generation barley grower and you might say he’s a Grain Daddy of malt here in NZ. Grain Daddy double IPA is proudly brewed using locally grown and malted Gladfield malt, and a truckload of NZ and USA hops.
